This summer has flown by in a blink of an eye! I can't believe that we are in our last couple weeks of August already...I attend to enjoy every last minute.
September is coming fast and with September comes school...for both of my babies! Kira is going to start her first year of preschool and Taylor is going into Kindergarten...Kindergarten. I.can't.believe.it!!
I have heard that it is tough to send your babies off to Kindergarten...I always thought it would be a welcomed 'break' from them...but the truth is, I am having a hard time with it. At first I chalked it up to her taking a school bus, but no that wasn't it, then I tried to fool myself into the idea that she would need me there...and clearly she doesn't, this girl is ready to go!
The fact is that as of September 5th, she is entering the world of school...and will remain there for at least 13 years and hopefully beyond into college or university. Gone. Only home from 3:30 pm on...I'm nervous that's not enough time with her a day...I worry and hope I've given her enough love and confidence to go into the world (even if it's only into the world of kindergarten)...I know, I know...maybe you're thinking take it down a notch...but I will not. This is huge for me.
When my babies were born, this day felt like a thousand years away...they're not babies anymore...it's happening.
I will enjoy these last couple weeks with my little ladies...I hope it goes by slowly and sweetly.
